ABOUT US

Jerry's Automotive is a family owned business that has been serving the greater Lansing area for the past 40+ years. The orginal location for Jerry's Automotive was at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Holmes road. At that time MLK Jr Blvd was known as Logan Street and Jerry's was know as the Logan and Holmes Standard/Amaco station. In 1990 we open our current facility at 5544 MLK Jr Blvd, dropped the gas and retail protion of the business so that we could concentrat on what we really are passionate about, fixing cars right and providing dealership qaulity without the dealership pricing. 

At Jerry's we pride in our work and that we take the time to understand what our clients needs are and include them in on the decission making. We will tell you what is wrong with your car and if there are options we will let you know so that you can make and informed decission.
 
Lansing is a great place to work and live and we are involved in our community and try and support it as much as we can. We try and purchase as many products and supplies as we can from local vendors and business and we support community organizations such as the Lions and Chamber of commerce.

OUR SERVICES

We service all major foriegn and domestic cars and trucks. We have the ability and knowledge to perform most major mechanical repars that include:

• Airconditioning recharge and system repairs.
• Diagnosis of warning lights and "trouble codes".
• Diagnosis and replacement of auto electrial components other wise known as a "tune up".
• Suspension and drive train repairs, including shock/strut, wheel bearings, CV joints, U joints and differential repairs.
• Brake system diagonsis and repairs.
• Transmisssion service and manual clutch repair.
• Tire Service that includes repair, balancing and new tire installation.
• Front end Alignments.
• Battery testing and replacement.
• Cooling system flush and maintenance.
• Belt and Hose replacement.
• Oil changes and other manufacture service recomendations.

The automotive repair professionals at Jerry's Automotove are State licensced and ASE Certified. In  addition to their certifictions the professionals at Jerry's Automotive attend regular traning sessions and seminars to keep them up to date on the latest automotive repair techniques and information.

Automobiles are complex systems and it is almost impossible to know everything about ever car that has been produced in the last 10-20 years, so to assist our professionals we suscribe to the Mitchell and Identifix that allow our professionals to go on line and find information on issues that they may not be fimialr with. This all helps us to provide our clients with the best service as possible and cut down on the amount of "come back" sitations.

Some of the equimpment that our professionals use include:

• SNAP ON Scanners: allows them to Diagnosis "trouble codes" and other electronic problems. These scanners are similar to the ones used at dealerships.
• Computerized Wheel alignment: Helps keep your car steering straight and helps increase the life of your steering components and tires.
• Air Conditioning Recharge station: Recharge/reoil your airconditonining system and detects any type of leaks.
• Coolant Flush Station: Cleans the systemand allows your cooling system to work as it is suppose to.
• Fuel Injector Cleaning Kit.
• A variety of presses that allow us to change bearings, struts and other "tricky" parts.
• NAPA Pro parts ordering system: If we do not have the NAPA part in stock, we can order it on line and if it is in the Lansing are we can have it the same day.
